Holidays

Hello!
Sorry it has been so long again, but Lani and I packed our bags and headed away for 2 weeks! We had a ball. It was so nice to be stress free for a few weeks! We stayed with some family friends who looked after us so well! My little girl is growing up way to fast! She has gotten 2 teeth (bottom 2) and has another 2 coming through (top 2). She is so talkative and pulls herself up on everything now!

What a wonderful Christmas

Well for the first time in a longggggg time i had a really FUN Christmas. I think it has to do with Lani... you know having a kid around to make Christmas special! We started off the day at Mel's Lani and I walked over (she lives a block away) around 8ish I think and had a ball playing with the girls and their new toys. Then it was off to Luke's Mums house to open Lani's presents with him. (Then phew it sounds busy I know) Mel took Lani and I up to Jo and Grahams!
I had a blast with the Pearson/McIntyre gang! Lani and I were made to feel so welcome! ( and of course Lani was spoilt rotten) We had the BIGGEST lunch followed by a yummy dinner! I can't believe how much having kids around on Christmas day really makes it all the more fun!
We did heaps of playing with the boys and all their new toys as well!

oh a little Kalani update...

• She is now 8 months old
• Can sit all. By. Herself!
• Is nearly crawling (gets on all fours and rocks and is also doing the whole commando crawl)
• Is eating lot's more of the BIG peoples food!

I am still alive!

I can't believe that I've being so slack with the posting!
We have had so much on over the last week that i haven't had time for anything! Firstly we had my nephew Oliver's 1st birthday party! Both Lani and I had a great day it was a day full of a lot of firsts for Kalani... she had her first lollie, first birthday party and it was also the first time she got sun burnt! I had smothered her in sun screen and she was only in the sun for a maximum of 15min yet she got really sun burnt! I think she has my skin :( that means the poor think will turn bright red just from thinking of the sun! (She is fine now...peeling but fine)

I have finished Christmas shopping for Lani and I'm so glad! I hate shopping... Last night Mel and I dressed the girls up in fairy clothes to get their photo's done for their Christmas present to their Nan and Pop! They looked so cute!

I have been reading over the post's of the last 2 months and i would like to let you all know I never ever intended on upsetting anyone and I am deeply sorry if I have done so.
But on a happier note.....
Lani and I have been very busy. I think I am starting to finally get everything into order, my house is starting to look like my house again and Lani is turning into a chatter box. She now says Mum and Dad heap's and has started saying Ssssssssssssss for Uncle Sam and Meh for Auntie Mel. She isn't quite crawling yet it's still the commando/dragging crawl. At the moment I am trying to get her to sit as she is more interested in standing ( Elle must be rubbing off on Lani ). Everything else has been going alright.

Last night I had my little brothers formal. It was heap's of fun! It also means that he has finally finished school. I'm sorry i haven't posted in a while it has just been so busy around here. I never new just how hard it would be.
